We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and reflective Training and Knowledge Manager to lead the entire life cycle of our capacity-building initiatives. You will design, manage, and execute the delivery strategy for all workshops, ensuring content quality, effective facilitation, and the successful conversion of training into organizational knowledge.

Job Type: Full Time (Temporal)

Duration: 3 Months (November 2025 to January 2026)

Core Roles and Responsibilities

The core function of this role is to lead the design, content, and delivery strategy for all capacity-building workshops and ensure effective knowledge transfer across the organization and its partners.

Your responsibilities will span technical training, partnership management, and internal knowledge stewardship:

I. Training Design and Delivery (Activity 2)

    • Content and Facilitation Oversight: Oversee the recruitment and technical selection of the 04 Training Facilitators (Sub-Activity 2.1).
    • Manage the facilitators’ engagement, content adaptation, and delivery strategy across the five core capacity areas.
    • Quality Assurance: Ensure all training content and methodologies are feminist-aligned, trauma-informed, and accessible to all participants.
    • Workshop Logistics Input: Liaise with the Logistics Officer to ensure the physical environment (venue, materials) supports an optimal and inclusive learning experience.

II. Partnership and Engagement (Activity 2)

  • Strategic Partnership: Lead the engagement process and manage the documentation (Memorandum of Understanding – MOU) with the 02 women’s rights and 01 youth-led organizations (Sub-Activity 2.1) and other stakeholders and related partner ministries for the organisation when necessary.
  • Partner Coordination: Serve as the primary technical liaison with partner organizations to align training needs, participation, and knowledge sharing objectives.

III. Monitoring, Learning, and Reporting (Activity 4)

  • Learning Content Development: Co-lead the development of the Module of Project Achievements and design the structure/agenda for the Project Monitoring and Learning (M&L) session (Sub-Activity 4.1, 4.2).
  • Reporting Input: Provide technical content on training delivery, participant outcomes, and lessons learned for inclusion in the Final Report (Sub-Activity 4.3).
  • Routine Reporting: Develop and submit detailed activity reports weekly and monthly to the Project Coordinator, focusing on training progress, key milestones achieved, and learning insights.

IV. Internal Roles and Knowledge Stewardship

  • Internal Capacity: Conduct internal skills gap assessments across the organization to inform future training needs and professional development planning.
  • Knowledge Management System: Establish and maintain a centralized, accessible repository for all training materials, pictures, reports, best practice tools, and learning documents generated by the project and share this with the Executive Director and Project Coordinator.
  • Policy Integration: Ensure that new organizational policies developed under the project (HR, Safeguarding, Financial) are accurately and practically integrated into internal training modules and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

What We’re Looking For (Essential Skills & Experience)

(We prioritize pedagogical expertise, feminist understanding, and demonstrated knowledge management skills.)

  • Curriculum Design: Proven experience in designing, adapting, and managing capacity-building curricula, particularly for adult learners in the non-profit or social justice sector.
  • Feminist Pedagogy: Demonstrated understanding and application of feminist and participatory learning methodologies.
  • Facilitator Management: Experience in recruiting, technically selecting, and managing external training facilitators and technical experts.
  • Knowledge Stewardship: Proficiency in developing and managing organizational knowledge systems (e.g., SharePoint, internal databases) to ensure long-term accessibility and utility of learning outputs.
  • Partnership Skills: Strong interpersonal and diplomatic skills for engaging and formalizing agreements (MOU) with partner organizations.

Nice-to-Have (Valued Assets)

  • Lived experience relevant to the communities we serve.
  • Experience working in a non-hierarchical or flat organizational structure.
  • Familiarity with micro-soft word, excel, PowerPoint, google meet, zoom and internet search engines and email.
