Gracious Gifters Foundation (GGF) is pleased to announce its selection for the African Women’s Development Fund’s 3-month post-training coaching programme dedicated to Crisis Preparedness and Organisational Resilience, to run from September to November 2026.
Building directly on the regional technical workshop held in Lomé, Togo, which we took part in, this initiative aims to provide tailored technical assistance, strategic coaching, and institutional mentoring to translate crisis management principles into operational frameworks.
Throughout this three-month engagement, GGF will collaborate with AWDF technical coach Anna Faye Konadjé to advance four key institutional milestones:
Operational Crisis Preparedness & Response Plan: Refining and updating comprehensive protocols to anticipate, mitigate, and respond to operational, humanitarian, and environmental emergencies.
Institutional Policy Strengthening: Developing and finalising 1 to 2 core organisational policies, risk management tools, and safeguarding mechanisms to enhance organisational stability.
Internal Coordination Mechanisms: Upgrading internal communication workflows, leadership response structures, and risk mitigation protocols to maintain institutional continuity during disruptions.
Knowledge Harvesting & Best Practices: Documenting lessons learned, adaptive strategies, and emerging practices to contribute to local and regional resilience frameworks.
This support programme comes at a crucial moment as GGF expands its interventions across vulnerable communities.
By embedding crisis management systems into our core governance structures, GGF will strengthen its capacity to deliver uninterrupted protection, social support, and development programmes.
